Evergreen Gardens was born from a simple observation. For over 20 years, our team had been producing precision metal components for industrial and construction markets across China. We understood steel — how to form it, coat it, and make it last.
In late 2024, we noticed growing demand from export partners for raised garden beds. The market was there, but quality was inconsistent. We saw an opportunity to apply our metalworking expertise to a product that genuinely helps people grow their own food and beautify their spaces.
By early 2025, garden beds had become our primary focus. We refined the modular panel system, flat-pack efficiency, and complete accessory sets. Today, we support retailers and distributors across North America, Europe, and Australia.
Three standard footprints derived from the current product data, presented in a cleaner category-led catalog format.
Deep-wall configurations for larger root zones, higher soil volume, and premium retail positioning.
Accessory and structural details retained from the existing page, now presented as a compact sales-oriented feature section.

Optional breathable wire mesh protects the growing area while maintaining drainage.

Flexible trim reduces exposed-edge contact during assembly and daily gardening.

Matched bolts, washers, and nuts support straightforward installation and replacement.

Improved joints enhance load distribution and stability in the assembled garden bed.
Both materials can support productive growing, but they differ in maintenance, moisture response, dimensional consistency, shipping efficiency, and long-term retail positioning.
Galvanized steel raised garden beds use zinc-coated metal panels designed for outdoor exposure. The panels do not swell or split with seasonal moisture, and modular construction supports repeatable sizes, interchangeable components, and efficient flat-pack logistics.
Wood raised garden beds offer a warm, traditional appearance and can be easy to customize locally. Performance varies by timber species, treatment, climate, and contact with wet soil, so buyers should account for sealing, weathering, replacement, and pest exposure.
| Comparison Factor | Galvanized Steel Raised Garden Beds | Wood Raised Garden Beds |
|---|---|---|
| Moisture response | Does not swell, warp, or rot; coating condition should be specified for the target market. | Can absorb moisture, weather, crack, or decay depending on species and treatment. |
| Maintenance | Typically limited to cleaning, fastener checks, and repair of damaged coating. | May require sealing, staining, lining, or replacement of weathered boards. |
| Modularity | Panel systems support multiple shapes, heights, and repeatable kit configurations. | Custom shapes are possible, but consistency depends on cutting and joinery. |
| Shipping and storage | Corrugated panels and accessories can be engineered for compact flat-pack cartons. | Thicker boards may increase carton weight and storage volume. |
| Visual character | Clean contemporary appearance with optional colors and finishes. | Warm, natural appearance with visible grain and gradual weathering. |
| Best fit | Scalable retail programs, modular product ranges, and lower-maintenance gardens. | Local builds, traditional landscapes, and buyers prioritizing natural timber. |
For buyers prioritizing natural appearance and local craftsmanship, wood can be a strong choice. For distributors and retailers seeking consistent dimensions, modular configurations, lower routine maintenance, and efficient container loading, galvanized steel raised garden beds are often the more scalable option.
Discuss Your Raised Garden Bed Program →Our production system is built around metal forming, surface treatment, dimensional control, and export-ready assembly. From galvanized steel input to finished flat-pack cartons, each batch follows a defined manufacturing and inspection route.
Incoming materials, panel geometry, coating condition, accessory completeness, and packing quality are checked before shipment, supporting stable repeat orders for private-label and distribution partners.
Key forming, finishing, and inspection capabilities are presented separately from the production workflow to make the factory’s manufacturing role immediately clear.

Continuous panel forming supports repeatable corrugation, stable edge geometry, and consistent modular assembly across batch production.
Forming and bending equipment controls panel dimensions, corner transitions, and connection geometry for modular kit configurations.
Controlled surface treatment and coating application support uniform appearance, adhesion, and outdoor-use durability.

Thickness, dimensions, coating condition, accessories, and packing are verified through incoming, in-process, and pre-shipment checks.
Prototype note: the first three equipment photographs are representative open-license images. Replace them with verified Evergreen factory photographs before final publication.
From raw galvanized steel to finished flat-pack cartons, the principal manufacturing and logistics stages remain visible in one continuous workflow.
